The Maarkandeya Syndrome!

I thought only Paki cricketers suffered from this malaise. Looks like Paki terrorists too are subject to these attacks. Must be something in the gene! What makes the average Pakistani believe that he looks younger than he really is?

Saqlain Mushtaq always admitted to 17, till he was atleast 26. Shahid Afridi and I were of the same age when he made his dubut. Now, I am 10 years older.

Looks like Kasab decided to take a leaf out of these cricketers' books. Unfortunately for him, the court has rubbished his claim that he is a juvenile and declared that he must be "over 20 years of age". Poor fellow, his name will never enter the annals of history as "The Youngest Ever Pakistani Terrorist Who Was Mug Enough To Be Caught By Indian Police".

Kasab's lawyer is not satisfied with the verdict of course. He will soon be appealing against the Court's verdict. Since he needs to put up a stronger case this time, I thought we should help him out. Kazmi can use any of the arguments cited below, without paying a service fee:

1. My client has not yet left school. See the picture for yourself. He is still carrying his school back pack.

2. The prison warden will bear me out on this - My client has stated to him, on 3 seperate
occasions, that he really missed "The Dora Show" on Pogo.

3. My client specifically asked for Junior Horlicks to take with his milk, 3 times a day.

4. My client studies in "Aaagghghaakhaaali School" in Pakistan. His teacher has given a written statement that he has not yet passed his Matriculation Exams.
(True! The teacher also adds that he never will, even if he tried for another 10 years)

5. My client does not possess a Voter ID card.
(Very true! Elections in Pakistan are held in, say, once in a century or so that it seems silly to get oneself a card. No one can live that long)

6. Last but not the least, I present to Your Worship his father's birth certificate. You will see that his FATHER IS A MINOR TOO!
